Building a Cedar Strip Handliner Rowboat
Our 2015 boatbuilding class built a cedar strip version of the Hubert Evans handliner at the Sarah Wray Hall under the guidance of boatbuilder Rick Crook of Oyster Bay Boats.
The boat plans are based on lines from the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives in Gibsons Landing.
The finished boat is now in our small boat livery and is on display and available to row at various events throughout the year.
