Fall 2018 Art Classes

Explore your creativity with instructor Shelley Stunell this Spring in a range of classes. Open to all levels. Come join in the fun!

All classes are Mondays and Wednesdays 1 - 3 pm at Sarah Wray Hall.

Colour Pencils: Sept. 5 - 24

• 6 classes: $60 (members), $70 (non-members)
• Theme: your favourite chair
• We will be covering Colour Theory, perspective and practice layering of colours. 
• Bring your own pencil crayons, pencil, eraser, ruler and sketchbooks. New students will be given a sketchbook.
• Bring a colour photo or image of your picture to the first class

Acrylic Painting: Oct. 10 - Nov. 19 -- FULL (wait list)
This class is now full but we are accepting names for the wait list.

• 12 classes - $100 (members), $110 (non-members)
• Theme: Snow
• Learn how to paint snow and reflections. 
• Students to bring a practice canvas as well as a good canvas, 18 x 24 ish, fairly large. 
• Find a picture with snow in it and bring to class. 
• Students to bring their own brushes, and paint if you like
• Don’t forget your sketchbook!
• Acrylic paint will be supplied
