Hotel Lake Park Project: Path, Dock, And Small Heritage Boat Livery
Project Update, October 2023: Due to changes in the BC Government Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship structure and review process, this project is now delayed until further notice.
|
By creating a small, approved dock and access path on Hotel Lake, we hope to share with local Sunshine Coast residents and visitors, on occasion during the summer months and by donation only, the historical experience of rowing or paddling one of our small collection of non-motorized heritage and replica boats.
Our small heritage livery includes a Hubert-Evans replica handliner rowboat built during our past boatbuilding classes, as well as a to-be-restored 10' Davidson fiberglass lifeboat, a common fixture on local fish boats in the past. |
