If you care that Pender Harbour's unique history is preserved and available for others to learn about and enjoy, we have many volunteer opportunities, both short term and long term, for all skill levels and backgrounds. 

We couldn't do what we do without the help of our many wonderful volunteers. We always welcome new faces!​

January 2023 Call for Volunteers

BOARD MEMBER NEEDED!
Would you like to become part of our volunteer board? If you have a passion for history, please tell us a bit about yourself prior to our May  AGM. We have many projects on the go and our events include April Tools and Pender Harbour Days. If you have expertise in any of the following areas, we can use your talents: writing, data entry, event planning, conducting interviews, fundraising.

Events
Do you enjoy planning events? We need someone to plan events such as historical talks, coffee drop-ins, etc. at Sarah Wray Hall. We also need people to work at sales tables at April Tools and/or Pender Harbour Days and/or to be part of the planning team for Pender Harbour Days.

Archives/Collections
Do you enjoy local history? Are you detail oriented? Volunteer to assist cataloguing archival material in a user-friendly database system.

Writing Articles
If you enjoy writing and learning about our local history, let us know. Articles are for local publications and online.
