Spring 2017 Art Classes

Explore your creativity with instructor Shelley Stunell this March and April in a range of classes:

Pencil Drawing: March 6-23 (6 classes)
Drawing a Still Life of "Historic Fishing Gear" using pencils. We have wonderful artifacts to use in our Pender Harbour Living Heritage Museum archives.

• Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-3 pm
• Class Fee: $60 (members), $70 (non-members)
• Maximum class size: 20.
• Pre-requisite: open to all previous class participants.
• This class is open to all new students and anyone wanting to improve or refresh drawing skills.
• Advanced students can do pen and ink if they like.

 
Oil Pastels: April 3-26 (7 classes)

• Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-3 pm
• Class fee: $70 (members), $80 (non-members)
• Maximum 15 students.
• We will work with colour and pastel techniques. The theme will be Canada to celebrate 150 years of our great country.
• Students must bring their own pastels.

 
May 7, 1 - 3 pm: Mini Art Show
We will display the above two assignments to celebrate Canada. Cake and refreshments available. This event will be advertised.
