Intro to Cedar Strip Canoe Building
An example of a cedar strip canoe built in a previous class.
Join boatbuilder and instructor Rick Crook of Oyster Bay Boats and learn cedar strip boatbuilding techniques at Sarah Wray Hall Wednesday evenings at 7 pm starting January 19, 2022 (Note: start date changed to one week later) until mid-March. The class project will be to build an 16-foot cedar strip canoe, which will become part of our livery to help raise funds for the society.
COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS
All students must show official proof of double vaccination at the first class. Masks are mandatory.
Cost: $150 per student (includes 1-year membership) or $140 for members paid up to 2022 and beyond. Maximum 6 students.

When: Wednesdays 7-9 pm starting Jan. 12, 2022 for 10 weeks
